Backup with Acronis
From February 2007 we use Acronis server for making compressed disk images. Backup runs every
evening. On Monday it makes full disk image, the other days it makes complementary
images. The space for disk images is currently 300GB that should cover approximately
three months of backups. After reaching the limit of 300GB the images
will rotate, i.e. the oldest full disk image and its complements will be deleted
in order to make space for new images.
The disk images can be mounted by root as a file system. For restoring files please contact dusek@fzu.cz
